Welcome to Jean-Claude Raemy

2017 begins with an exciting expansion of the editorial team of travelnews.ch. As of today, Jean-Claude Raemy (44) has started working at the Travelnews headquarters in the «Supertanker» building in Zurich. He adds a wealth of knowledge and experience within journalism and the tourism industry to the motivated Travelnews team.

For Raemy, it is a return to well-known pastures. After 14 years spent in various roles at the travel trade magazine  «Travel Inside», he had joined touroperating giant Kuoni Travel in late 2014 to take up a role as Senior Product Manager. As such, he was responsible for sales and tour/brochure production for the destinations USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand and was head of the respective department. After this position was made redundant due to an internal restructuring, Raemy chose to return to journalism and tourism, and to join the ranks of our up-and-coming online publication.

The editorial team with Gregor Waser and Linda von Euw as well as the entire crew of travelnews.ch are looking forward to working with their new colleague. Welcome and all fingers crossed, Jean-Claude!
