New entry system for Antigua and Barbuda

The Caribbean island nation has introduced a digital entry and exit system that makes airport procedures much more efficient and less complicated. The motto: less waiting time, more vacation.

Antigua and Barbuda's Ministry of Tourism, in coordination with immigration authorities, has announced the official launch of a modern digital entry and exit system at VC Bird International Airport. ArriveAntigua.com significantly simplifies and speeds up the entry process for travelers. The aim is to make the arrival and departure process more convenient – in line with the motto: less waiting time, more vacation.

The digital process is simple and does not require any app downloads; the online form can be conveniently completed using a smartphone or tablet. The passport is scanned automatically with a photo and the relevant data is transferred. Up to 72 hours before departure, you can submit a short questionnaire about the customs declaration. After completing the form, travelers receive a QR code that is presented on arrival and departure – either digitally stored or as a printout. This considerably speeds up clearance at immigration and customs.

The system will soon be available for cruise ship travelers and private jet passengers at all fixed-base operators (FBOs) in Antigua and Barbuda. Further information and direct access to the system can be found here.
