Railtour offers charter seats on the Glacier Express

On popular weekends, the Glacier Express from St. Moritz to Zermatt is fully booked. Railtour is therefore offering its customers charter seats on selected dates in spring and fall. Bookings are now being taken.

A journey on the Glacier Express—one of the world's most scenic train routes—is a must for every rail travel enthusiast. The ride takes you across 294 bridges and through stunning landscapes, so tickets sell out quickly and availability is limited.

For this reason, Railtour, the Swiss rail travel specialist, has chartered an entire first-class carriage of the Glacier Express for its customers on two particularly popular weekends in spring and fall.

The «Min Glacier – Din Glacier» package includes not only the first-class rail journey from/to your home and your chosen hotel, but also a three-course lunch, a personal welcome from Railtour staff on the platform at St. Moritz and a “welcome bag” with refreshments for the journey.

On the following travel dates, up to 36 people can enjoy the trip from St. Moritz to Zermatt with Railtour:

  • June 13–15, 2025 (Glacier Express ride on June 14)
  • June 20–22, 2025 (Glacier Express ride on June 21)
  • September 19–21, 2025 (Glacier Express ride on September 20)
  • October 10–12, 2025 (Glacier Express ride on October 11)
