Kuoni is now setting musical accents
A standardized music program is now playing in all Kuoni travel agencies in Switzerland. Under the title “Sounds from elsewhere – tailored by Kuoni”, the travel agency has introduced its own playlist together with audio branding specialist Maxfive and an internal project team.
The music selection – including artists such as Norah Jones and Michael Bublé – was specifically tailored to the Kuoni brand world, according to a statement. The aim is to create a pleasant atmosphere in which customers and employees feel comfortable.
The music concept is intended to complement the imagery in the branches and ensure a coherent overall picture. In addition to a Kuoni jingle, commercials from partner companies are also played at longer intervals.
The playlists are regularly updated and include several thousand titles. The volume is deliberately kept low so as not to disturb consultations. The music is not intended as background noise, but as part of the branch experience.
