Beond is expanding its range from Zurich

The Maldivian luxury airline Beond is expanding its services in Switzerland. Due to strong booking numbers, an additional connection from Zurich will be available in February and March 2025.

While Beond is still overcoming early challenges in other markets, the premium airline has received a very positive response in Switzerland, one year after its inaugural flight, according to Travelnews. Booking numbers for the winter peak season are so strong that the luxury airline is now offering an additional connection from Zurich in February and March 2025.

The decision highlights what passenger surveys have already confirmed. the Swiss market boasts the highest satisfaction ratings in Europe within the Beond network, according to a message from the premium airline to Swiss travel agencies.

The third weekly rotation will be operated using the larger Airbus A321 (68 seats) to accommodate growing demand. The A319 will continue to operate the other two connections as usual.

Beond is currently not only working on the flight schedule from Zurich, but also wants to further improve the service for travel agencies at the same time. «We are in the final stages of testing the integration of Travelport/Galileo as a GDS and will go live in the coming days», the letter continues.
