HX introduces all-inclusive offer

HX will be introducing the all-inclusive offer from October 2024. This ranges from daily expert-led excursions and a whole range of scientific activities both on board and in the great outdoors, to alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and professional photography. These changes are designed to enhance the guest experience onboard and simplify the product offering for the trade.

Alex Delamere-White, HX Chief Commercial Officer, explains: "Expedition cruises are a complex product in terms of the unique destinations and the different offerings for our distribution partners. By integrating numerous services as standard, we can make the travel experience on board more convenient and simplify advice at the counter."

"We want our guests to be able to fully engage with the expedition as curious travellers during their stay with us. By making everything as simple as possible, they can focus on exploring remote parts of the world and learning from our expert team. “We believe that adventure should be all-inclusive. Not only are our daily excursions, lectures and access to the Science Centre at no extra cost, but also the delicious food and beverages." HX has responded to feedback from guests and partners and has now driven this product development forward.

It's all included

The new HX "all-inclusive" offer includes expert-led excursions, scientific activities on board and ashore and a diverse culinary offering.  For guests embarking on an HX expedition to Antarctica or the Galapagos Islands from October 2024, the following services are included:

• Daily expeditions and activities such as hikes, community visits, lectures and more
• Full board, including breakfast, lunch and dinner with house wine and beer
• Wine, beer, spirits and cocktails during the day and in the evening
• Coffee, tea and soft drinks throughout the day
• Free Wi-F
• Gratuity
• The HX interactive science programme, science centre and activities on board and ashore
• Access to sauna, whirlpools, fitness room and more
• Professional photos from the onboard photographer
• Opportunities to get involved with and support local communities and environmental initiatives through the Hurtigruten Foundation
• Expedition jacket and reusable water bottle to take with you

What is not included:

• Some special excursions and experiences with limited capacity
• Dine Dining at Lindstrøm Restaurant
• Personalised spa treatments
• Premium drinks (premium spirits, vintage wines, champagne, etc.)
