Five new Easyjet destinations from Zurich

The low-cost airline easyJet is expanding its services from Zurich. With five new routes and attractive prices, it aims to challenge established airlines starting with the 2025 summer flight schedule. In the future, easyJet will serve a total of 13 destinations from Zurich.

The British low-cost airline easyJet is expanding its route network from Zurich Airport. It will offer five additional destinations from the 2025 summer flight schedule. New additions to the programme include connections to Edinburgh, Faro, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca and Olbia. This expansion increases the number of routes served by EasyJet from Zurich to a total of 13, according to the airline's press release.

Palma will be served daily starting on March 30, 2025, while EasyJet will begin flying to Málaga four times a week from March 31, 2025. Faro (from 1 April 2025) and Edinburgh (from 1 May 2025) will be served twice weekly. Olbia will be served four times a week from 23 June 2025.

Easyjet is offering attractive prices: the entry-level fare for flights to Palma de Mallorca, Edinburgh and Olbia starts at just 41 francs each way. Competitive prices are also advertised for the other destinations in order to meet the demand for affordable travel options.

Palma is also served non-stop by Swiss, its sister airlines Edelweiss and Eurowings, as well as by the small Swiss airline Chair and the German airline Condor. Swiss also flies directly from Zurich to Faro, Málaga and Olbia, while Easyjet competes with Edelweiss on the route to Edinburgh.

Thomas Haagensen, Group Markets Director at Easyjet, says: «We have been operating in Switzerland for more than 25 years, and although our activities are mainly managed from our bases in Basel and Geneva, we see a demand for affordable travel to a range of popular destinations from Zurich.»

Easyjet is responding to market demand for affordable travel experiences, for both flights and package holidays. The low-cost airline is promoting its new destinations in cooperation with its own tour operator, Easyjet Holidays. Travellers can not only book the flights, but also add a suitable hotel as part of a package holiday.
