This is how Emirates operates its flights from Zurich
On 1 October 2024, Emirates will launch the new cabin product on Zurich flights. Following the launch of the first Boeing 777 on one of the two daily Geneva flights, Emirates sill also be flying from Zurich with four classes - under flight numbers EK 85 and EK 86. From 22 September, two daily flights with the latest Boeing 777 (flight numbers EK 89 and EK 90) will also be operated between Geneva and Dubai.
Mohammad Lootah, Emirates Country Manager Switzerland, says: ‘Just one week after the successful introduction of our modernised cabin product in Geneva, we can already feel the enthusiasm of the passengers. The fact that our twice-daily flights from Geneva are now being operated with the modernised Boeing 777 shows how successfully our improved service has been received. Demand is just as strong in Zurich, so it is a logical destination to offer flights in a four-class Boeing 777 in the upcoming weeks.’
‘Switzerland is a strategic market in Emirates' European network and demand for premium cabins is strong in both Zurich and Geneva. We are delighted to be able to offer our guests the latest cabin products and further enhance their flying experience. We look forward to a successful launch in Zurich this October,’ adds Mohammad Lootah.
